November is a Month for Being Thankful

I have missed a few days. But I am thankful that we finally got moved into our new home! It’s been an exhausting but fun week and a half…signing papers, having carpets cleaned, painting the kids’ new bedrooms, moving, and finally living in our forever home. I have much to be thankful for.

The kids went back to school this morning after an extra long Thanksgiving weekend. With a little bit of a new routine in the mornings now, both kids will ride the bus together to school in the mornings. The Little Man was a bit nervous about being the first elementary kid on the bus with all the middle school and high school students, but his big sister said she would take care of him! I love those kids. I have much to be thankful for.

School was cancelled the Wednesday before Thanksgiving due to heavy fog. So that really gave us all an extra day to pack and get new house stuff together. We spent Thanksgiving lunch time with the hubby’s side of the family for a nice meal at his brothers home and then that evening we spent with my side of the family at my parents home for a nice meal. We are truly blessed to have so much family around us. I have much to be thankful for.

This week will be busy busy busy with work for me and the hubby, school for me and the kids, getting the house together for a weekend of Sweet 16 Celebration for the Lovely Daughter…slumber party Friday night, tea party Saturday afternoon, family birthday dinner Sunday and then her actual birthday on Monday.

Like I said, I have much to be thankful for.
