Daddy started chemotherapy last Tuesday. He’s starting to feel the effects. Just feeling crummy and pukey. I hate to see him go through this. But I know that God is in control and will use this time in all of our lives.
My Seester moved back to Indiana this weekend! It was a super-dee-duper busy first few days home. They landed at about 11pm on Friday night and went almost non-stop until today. They are able to catch their breath today and the girls start school tomorrow!
My Son, the Marine, arrived safely back in the States yesterday. He called from Alaska and continued home to Cali yesterday. I won’t get to see him though until we fly out for his wedding at the end of the year. I’m sad about that, that we won’t really get to visit, but at least he’s home safe from war.
Lovely Daughter is officially finished with marching band season. She has a two week break and then begins winter guard.
Little Man is going to be a groomsman in The Marine’s wedding. He’s is so excited to be a real groomsman and not just a ring-bearer. He can hardly wait to stand with his big bro at his wedding!
Hubby is working, working, working.
We have ANOTHER closing date on the new house. After so many postpone-ment-nesses (yes, I just made that up!) I’m not going to hold my breath. It would be GREAT to close that day, but we’ll see. Don’t want to get my hopes up again. It has been sooooo discouraging to have so many closing dates and then they get postponed. I really need to get a move on as far as packing goes, but I don’t want to pack stuff we might need. I feel like we’re living in limbo. It’s quite frustrating. So…hopefully November 9 will be a good day!
That’s all today. I realized that I haven’t posted an update of the little yellow bathroom. I’ll do that soon! Have a great Monday all!
